The Home Care Association of Washington (HCAW) is proud to announce it is joining with the Professional Registry of Nursing (PRN) to bring you Home Care Aide Certification training.
The Home Care Association of Washington and the Professional Registry of Nursing have teamed up to help provide you with an affordable, efficient and cost effective training solution for your valuable caregivers. We can help you meet your training requirements with local, convenient classes for the Fundamentals of Caregiving and Modified Fundamentals of Caregiving courses, as well as Continuing Education and Nurse Delegation offerings. The training will include regularly scheduled web-based classes and on-site skills training/competency testing at 5 sites statewide. This partnership between HCAW and PRN brings you a quality program that is already state approved at an affordable price.
Registrations will be processed by PRN. HCAW will forward a monthly training report and associated invoice.

You will register for the on-line courses and the on-site skills testing separately, allowing you to choose the schedule and site that is most convenient for you. Both the class and test components are included in the class tuition fee. After you register, a confirmation will be e-mailed to you.

Cost of training: HCAW members who choose to complete the online basic training, in-class skills & testing, and client specific online training through this program will receive a member price of $365 per participant for the 73 hours of training. **HCAW member rates for classes will not be advertised on the PRN website; PRN will adjust member invoices to reflect the discounted rate.**
Cancellation Policy: PRN only invoices payment for classes after they have occurred; no payments are taken beforehand. Cancellations are accepted prior to class. Those who do not cancel before class are considered a "No-Show" and will be billed the full tuition amount.
