 These two 90 minute webinars will focus on key details of the proposed & final 2017 HH Payment Updates including: the proposed and final case mix changes in the clinical and functional thresholds; the proposed and final outlier changes including the proposed change to a cost per visit approach based on service units; the proposed and final LUPA rates and Rural add-on; detail on the proposed and final new billing of Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT) Using a Disposable Device; and a review of the proposed and final changes to HHVBP. The webinar on the Final rules will help you sort out what to expect in 2017 to keep you in the race and get you across the finish line! Your participation will ensure staff have the knowledge needed to both comment to CMS on the proposed rules and implement the final rules!  Our presenter is our 2017 Payment Coach Melinda Gaboury – a favorite national speaker, she is the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Healthcare Provider Solutions, Inc. (HPS). Melinda Gaboury and Mark Cannon founded the company in April 2001 and currently provide financial, reimbursement and clinical consulting services to the home health and hospice industries. Ms. Gaboury has many years of firsthand experience in the following key areas:  Medicare Home Health PPS & Hospice Billing Training - Chart Reviews as a result of OIG Corporate Integrity Agreements -  Chart Reviews for Billing, ICD-10 Coding & OASIS Integrity Issues -  Coordination of Clinical and Financial Staff Communications - Home Health PPS & Hospice Billing, Collections & Case Mix Calculations - Medicare Revenue Recognition Models - Due Diligence Procedures – and, Management of a Medical Billing Department. She has developed and taught clinician and billing Medicare PPS Training Workshops in a variety of venues. Ms. Gaboury’s priority remains bridging the gap between clinical and financial issues in home care agencies. Gaboury is also the author of The Home Health Pocket Guide to OASIS C1 – revision for C2 to be published in December 2016.

 Convenience:  Enjoy the convenience and cost-efficiency of a webinar – watch the speaker’s slide presentation on the internet while listening by telephone or through your computer’s microphone and speakers (VoIP).  There is no limit to the number of attendees from your agency who may participate at your site using one phone line and a computer with internet access.  Confirmation:  Prior to the webinar, a GoToWebinar link will be e-mailed to you.  You will need to register through this link to attend the webinar. You will be sent a confirmation which will include a join link to access the webinar, a dial-in number and an access code to listen in via telephone. You will also be sent any pertinent handouts if available, and the sign-in sheet, and evaluation.

You will be sent the recording link following the presentation and it will be available for 30 days following the webinars!! So all your staff can listen at their convenience!!

Registration Fee: Registration fees are based on one phone/webinar connection; multiple site participation for your agency will require a separate registration fee for each connection. Please note: if your agency has sent in 1 registration but 3 people from your agency register through the GTW link, your agency will be invoiced for the additional 2 registrations.

 Cancellation Policy: Fees will be refunded only if written cancellation is received by AHHC two weeks prior to the webinar and no refunds after the GoToWebinar registration link is sent to your agency. In the event of a written cancellation, AHHC will retain, or charge, $50 of the initial registration fee, per registrant, to cover administrative overhead. Once written cancellation is received, an AHHC staff member will review for approval. If your cancellation is approved, we will email back a signed and dated copy of the cancellation that your agency should retain on file in case of questions.
