“Transition to Practice” For New Graduates to Home Health Webinar

Hiring new grads?  Yes, it can be done!  Rachel Manchester, BSN/MBA/MHA, Director of Clinical Quality Home Health for Providence Senior and Community Services, will provide a webinar on November 9, 2016 at 1 p.m. describing Providence's journey to make every clinician successful in home health and how they successfully implemented a "Transition to Practice" for new graduates to home health. 

 In this one hour seminar, Rachel will describe the rationale behind Providence’s decision to move in this direction, the preparation required, and lessons learned by this organization. She’ll also outline the preceptor program that was developed to support existing clinician’s to make them successful in precepting new graduates and find personal growth in old routines. This will be followed by a question and answer period. Please join us for this insightful innovative program.

 Faculty: Rachel Manchester, BSN/MBA/MHA

Rachel has over 15 years of clinical nursing experience combined with 6 years of project and 10 years of team management. She began her nursing career as a NICU nurse, then after 7 years she decided to return to school and get her Master’s degree in healthcare administration and business. Prior to landing in home health, she worked in hospitals to improve quality through project management and with nurses to sustain best practices. Her passion is to help others, create evidence-based standardization, work on process improvement to reduce patient harm to increase quality outcomes.

Please note our cancellation policy:  If you cancel your registration prior to five business days before the program, you will receive a refund less 25% for administrative costs.  All cancellations must be made in writing.  No refunds for cancellations or exchanges within five business days of the program.  If due to unforeseen circumstances we must cancel this event, registrants will receive a full refund.
