This webinar will review the detail changes to the Hospice Election Statement that will go into effect October 2020. In addition to the Election Statement itself, there will also be an addendum requirement that will include many clinicians’ needing to fully understand what is allowed and not allowed under the Medicare Benefit and the regulations to support that decision. This webinar will assist in full preparation for implementation of these new requirements.

Melinda A. Gaboury, with more than 29 years in home care, has over 18 years of executive speaking and educating experience, including extensive day-to-day interaction with home care and hospice professionals. She routinely conducts Home Care and Hospice Reimbursement Workshops and speaks at state association meetings throughout the country. Melinda has profound experience in Medicare PPS training, billing, collections, case-mix calculations, chart reviews, and due diligence. UPIC, RA, ADR & TPE appeals with all Medicare MACs have become the forefront of Melinda’s current impact on the industry. She is currently serving on the NAHC/HHFMA Advisory Board and is Associate Director on the Home Care Association of Florida Board of Directors. Melinda is also the author of the Home Health OASIS Guide to OASIS-D1.

Registration: Registration fees are based on one phone/webinar connection; multiple site participation for your agency will require a separate registration fee for each connection. Please note: if your agency has sent in 1 registration but 3 people from your agency register through the GTW link, your agency will be invoiced for the 2 additional registrations. Following each webinar, you will receive a recording via link and it will be available 30 days following the webinar.

Registration Fee  $75 per agency line  $100 per agency line 

Registrations must be paid in full prior to the event date.

Contact Hours: 1 Nurse contact hour will be offered. 

Cancellation Policy:
Fees will be refunded only if written cancellation is received by HCAW two weeks prior to the workshop and no refunds after the registration link is sent to your agency. In the event of a written cancellation, HCAW will retain $30 of the initial fee to cover administrative overhead.
