Nancy is a dedicated and compassionate wound/ostomy nurse with a passion for improving the lives of patients facing complex medical challenges due to wounds and ostomies. Nancy has provided wound care to patients for close to 20-years and 14 years with ostomy patients in acute care, outpatient wound clinic and now home health and hospice. She completed wound/ostomy education at Emory University in 2011 and became board certified as a CWON by the WOCNCB in 2012. Nancy spent years precepting for Emory University and the University of Washington’s wound/ostomy programs. She is enthusiastic about sharing knowledge with other clinicians navigating the path of wound/ostomy care. Nancy’s favorite wound quote is “treat the whole person and not just the hole in the person.”
