QAPI Roundtable: Timeliness of Care
The Home Care Association of Washington will be hosting monthly virtual roundtable discussions for members to provide a space to share challenges and successes to elevate the practice across the state. The rational for resourcing this project is the current aggregate low performance of Washington Home Health agencies compared to other states. We are 45thor lower in multiple metrics.
The intent is to improve our standing in the nation by leveraging the knowledge within the state to raise aggregate Home Health compliance and competence. By providing a space for conversation, best practices can be shared, standards reviewed, and challenges addressed with multiple experts. This roundtable will provide a networking function to connect leaders across the state to each other to improve practices for all patients in Washington state.
Our first meeting September 8th at 2:00 pm will address timeliness of care—how Home Health agencies are able to conduct first patients’ visit within 48 hours of first referral. Marc Berg of Berg Data Solutions will join us to share current state data. We will be taking a poll during the meeting to determine subjects of interest for future calls.
