ANNUAL AWARDS PROGRAM

Each year, HCAW’s Annual Awards recognize distinguished individuals for their contributions to improving in-home services and the communities we serve. These individuals make everything a little better and a little brighter for the vulnerable populations we serve. 

Help us celebrate your employees and volunteers by submitting a nomination for the HCAW Annual Awards. We will be honoring these individuals during our Annual Awards Breakfast Program at the Spring Annual Conference on Wednesday, May 3rd. Each award winner receives a complimentary registration for themselves and a guest.

Criteria:

Subject Content

  • Home Health, Hospice, Home Care, Private Duty Agencies/Programs 
  • Suggested topics: improvement projects, research, tool-kit development, safety projects, infection prevention work, innovative scheduling, complimentary therapy, decreased hospitalizations, improved staff retention, best practice meta-analysis, disease-specific programs, accreditation journey, etc.

Abstract:

  • Submit poster summary in Word format, 450 words maximum, excluding title and authors.  
  • Presenting Author must be listed as first author on the list. All abstracts are to be submitted to Carissa Linnane Executive Director, HCAW at info@hcaw.org 
  • Deadline for submission is April 7, 2023

     

Prizes:
  • First-place poster will receive one free at registration at the next conference.
  • Second place poster will receive $200 off registration at the next conference. 

SPECIAL EVENTS

Presidents Welcome Reception – Tuesday, May 2, 2023, 5:00-6:00 PM

Following the Pre-Conference Workshop we will meet on the rooftop deck at Campbell’s Resort for beverages and bites. 

HCAW PAC Silent Auction & Raffle – Wednesday, May 3, 2023, 5:00-6:30 PM 

After presentations on Wednesday, May 3rd, HCAW will host an auction for our Political Action Committee. HCAW’s nonpartisan PAC is crucial to our continued advocacy efforts as we work to improve regulations on Home Health and Hospice in Washington State.

Donations can be mailed to HCAW Offices or dropped off at the registration desk by Tuesday, May 2nd.
