Explore the history of the opioid crisis and its relationship to addiction. Navigate assessment tools and plans of care, including emergency care, to successfully help a client move into lifelong recovery. Gain tools to empower family to strengthen the client resolve to beat the addiction. Engage in simulation, role play and return demonstration exercises throughout the day of learning.
This program meets the 2018 WAC 246-840-4655 continuing education requirements for opioid prescribing for Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioners and Chronic Pain Management Specialists.
Who Should Attend? All healthcare professionals in all healthcare settings who work with clients who may have Opioid Use Disorder.
