OUR MISSION: To promote long-term growth and sustainability of in-home services in Washington State. HCAW provides leadership for consumers by unifying in-home service providers through public outreach, education, legislative advocacy and supporting practice standards.
Who We Are:
HCAW is the most diverse In Home Services association in Washington State representing Home Health, Home Care, and Hospice providers; members also include affiliated healthcare professionals, providers, consultants, and vendors. In this era of health reform, partnerships within the healthcare community are essential. HCAW actively promotes partnership development within our membership and with external providers. HCAW provides advocacy, education, and support to members as we work together to achieve the triple aim of healthcare: improved quality, reduced cost, and improved health.
What We Provide:
Education
Offered through Online University, onsite classes, annual conferences, webinars, newsletter articles and more. The Annual Meetings and Education Committee meets regularly to plan education that will assist member organizations, meet regulatory requirements, improve staff clinical skills, and implement successful business practices.
Advocacy
HCAW represents you, your agency and the In Home Services industry at key city, state, regional, and national meetings. We ensure you have a presence/voice at these meetings and brings back vital information to the membership. Key meetings include established networking meetings, stakeholder groups, task forces, and coalitions that partner with other healthcare providers/policy makers.
Community
HCAW provides forums for members to pose questions, discuss concerns and ask for feedback. A monthly newsletter & news briefs provide current articles by industry experts, HCAW staff/board members. HCAW staff provide linkage for members and non-members to resource information; HCAW links customers to member providers, affiliates and consultants.
